Student Development Program

In association with JSSTICE, Bengaluru, a two day program was organized from 19-04-2022 to 20-04-2022 at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore Campus. The target audience was the VI semester students of all the UG and MBA program. About 842 students attended the program spread in two days. On the first day, 370 students of CSE, EIE, IEM and Civil Engg. Dept. attended the program. On the second day, 472 students of ISC, ME and ECE attended the awareness program. The awareness program was conducted in three sessions. 

Session 1 (9:30am to 10:30am): Improving learning memory and performance by Dr. C R Chandrashekar, MBBS, MD, DPM, Professor of Psychology(Retd.) NIMHANS, Bengaluru.

Session 2 (10:45am to 11:45am): How to crack competitive exams on IAS and KAS Examinations by Mr. Vinay Kumar Biradar, Academic head, JSSTICE, Bengaluru.

Session 3 (11:45am to 12:45pm): Opportunity available in banking sector and how to crack banking exams by Mr. Umesh. C., Chief Operating Officer, BRET solutions, Bengaluru.

In session 1, #Dr. C R Chandrashekar spoke on how to improve learning by quoting different examples, shared his experience in his practice as a psychiatrist. He gave tips for students in maintaining good mental health in present stressful life. 

In session 2, Mr. Vinay Kumar Biradar narrated on how to crack competitive exams on IAS and KAS Examinations. In his session, he highlighted the pattern of UPSC and KPSC examinations, preparation level needed in GK and other optional subjects and the support by JSSTICE, Bengaluru for the aspirants. 

In session 3, Mr. Umesh. C, illustrated various opportunities available in banking sector and how to crack banking exams. He mentioned that more and more engineering graduates are cracking the bank PO exams easily with just one year preparation. In written test, questions on Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Reasoning Ability will be asked. He stressed upon the importance of group discussion and personal interview in shortlisting the candidates for the posts. He also shared his experience as panel member and as recruiter of candidates for different posts in banks.
